How To Put On Cuff Bracelets
Most cuff style bracelets are meant to be lightly adjusted but repeatedly stretched and compressed metal can wear over time causing deformation, and even breaking. This can also cause any stones to pop loose. To avoid weakening the integrity of the bracelet, just follow these next steps on how to put on and take of your custom one of a kind cuff.
Before putting on your cuff bracelet for the first time, take a look at the side of your wrist. Find the narrowest part of your wrist on the thumb side: this is where your cuff will slide on. Next very gently stretch the two ends of the cuff apart just wide enough to fit over this narrowest part of your wrist (if it needs stretch at all). Again do this gently, stretching the bracelet a little bit at a time. Turn the cuff sideways with the open end of the cuff facing your wrist and slide it on, turning your arm into the bracelet until its positioned correctly. To make it tighter, put your whole hand over the bracelet, so that you do not weaken one spot, and squeeze just enough so that it wont slide off. Be sure you can still slip it back off the side of your wrist by reversing the process. Your cuff shouldn’t need any more stretching, tightening or adjusting after this initial adjustment.
